March 8 is the official International Women's Day.

We should always remember that this isn't the only day that we should give back to women. It's a perennial dictum to love, respect, trust and empower women. We should give back to the very reason why we're alive today. If it wasn't for the labor and dedication they (we) have given, we shouldn't be alive today.

Though Latin is a dead language, I've always been fascinated with it. One of the favorite languages people use for their tattoo designs. At point in time, I wanted to have it tattooed on my lower back but decided not to, 'cause it's a one-time-big-time decision. Once it's there, then there's no turning back. If ever I've made up my mind on having it on my back, then I'll post a photo.

It looks so lilac-ish plus bluish but the manually done gradient effect worked!

On the background is a grunge brush with a matching blue topped with gray. 

Just had to tone down the opacity.

I really wanted to do this thing long time ago together with the brains joke but typography isn't as easy as you think it is. Yes, maybe the idea isn't too complex but when you try to juggle down all the words and lay them on your paper and render on your computer, it isn't easy as 1-2-3.

The sleep fairy hasn't visited me yet, so instead of being idle or playing around with our lazy dog (Stewie), I decided to do a freestyle handwritten logo of a I-Don't-Know-What-You-Should-Call-It. 

Just plain and simple... the way I want it. Anyway, logos shouldn't be rowdy or too loud. It's fine that way.

2012: The Year of the Water Dragon

Thought of putting some cloudy blue and white on the dragons but it didn't quite jive with the original lilac-ish background. So while trying to +/- the values and tick/un-tick the properties, I finally came up with the rare color of black. So there's the little final product.
